Langham Hotel Auckland

Fresh from a sumptuous multimillion-dollar makeover, this business favorite is now Auckland’s plushest hotel. They have service down to a fine art and staff are the friendliest in the city. All rooms are opulent but the four floors of Club Rooms offer that little bit extra: king-size beds and lovely marble bathrooms, plus Club Lounge access and business facilities. The hotel has Green Globe Certification and was awarded Qualmark Enviro-Gold status in 2008. Treat yourself to dinner in Barolo—it’s a feast for the eye and the stomach. Overall, the Langham is more traditional than the Hilton and much larger.
