Alt-Luxemburg ReviewKarl Wannemacher is one of the most outstanding chefs in eastern Germany. Known for his quality market-fresh ingredients, he prepares a seductively sensual plate. Everything shows his flawless technique, from the filet of turbot with baby leeks and a sweet vinegar sauce to the roast scallops in a balsamic sauce with silver beets. Other delectably flavored dishes include an olive-crusted saddle of Irish lamb or a filet of veal with shiitake mushrooms and polenta.
