Frommer's Review
Built in 1999, this 11-story establishment is one of the most posh and elegant hotels in the pivotal Potsdamer Platz neighborhood. The hotel's exterior is sheathed in steel and warmly textured Italian brick. Each of the units inside is configured as a suite and is upholstered in discreetly plush fabrics, decorated with top-of-the-line stone, tile, or marble, and ringed with big windows that flood the postmodern interiors with sunlight. All bathrooms come with a tub/shower combo and, in the case of the larger suites, separate showers and separate bathtubs. The upper levels, including the lounge, Qiu, one floor above lobby level, are spacious and opulent, in vivid contrast to the discreet and nonflamboyant scale of the reception area. One of this hotel's most charming features is its fifth-floor restaurant, FACIL.
