Spared from the 1945 bombings, a classical building from the 19th century has been renovated and turned into a good-value hotel that is comfortable, well maintained, and immaculate. Nostalgia and charm are combined with modern amenities. Guest rooms, midsize to spacious, come with a well-appointed bathroom with the latest fixtures, including tub and shower. The hotel offers several charming features, including a lobby bar with parquet flooring and chairs and tables that look as if they came from Old Havana. Drinks are also served on the garden roof terrace. Yet another pocket of charm is the cozily furnished English-style tearoom.
