Frommer's Review
Strikingly contemporary, this luxe hotel lies in a quiet and verdant neighborhood near several foreign embassies, some concert halls, and the massively expanding Potsdamer Platz. Thanks to river views and a swath of park, you might get the feeling that you're far from the city. It competes effectively with other Berlin hotels in its class, with a well-conceived collection of modern art. It is, in fact, the hyper-contemporary alternative to the more traditional Kempinski . The starkly contemporary, bright, sun-flooded, and cheerful rooms pay strict attention to sound insulation. Bathrooms are generously sized with tub/shower combos. Corner rooms are among the most spacious and have some of the best views of the surrounding area.
Facilities:
3 restaurants; 2 bars; indoor heated pool; whirlpool; sauna; solarium; fitness center; room service; babysitting; laundry service; dry cleaning; nonsmoking rooms; rooms for those w/limited mobility
