Frommer's Review
The facade of this trend-conscious hotel isn't easily recognizable from the street, as the tiny lobby is accessible via an alleyway that leads past an avant-garde garden and a big-windowed set of dining and drinking facilities. The setting is the labyrinthine premises of what was built long ago as a Jugendstil-era apartment house. Rooms are small, minimalist, and furnished in carefully chosen natural materials. Extras include dataports and cordless phones. Bathrooms are cramped but well designed, and equipped with showers. Tables spill from the cafe into the tiny garden, where shrubs and flowers are surrounded with smooth-polished pieces of colored glass -- a definite conversation piece.
Facilities:
2 restaurants; bar; steambath; room service (7am-11:30pm); massage; laundry service; dry cleaning; nonsmoking rooms; rooms for those w/limited mobility
