For years, this establishment enjoyed a reputation as a small, private hotel, but now it's expanded. Though not in the same league as the Art'otel , it's still a good choice, conveniently located near the Ku'Damm and the many bars, cafes, and restaurants around Savignyplatz. The original 42 rooms are smaller than the newer units, which are medium size. The rather severe and somewhat somber modern style may not suit everyone -- certainly not those seeking romantic ambience -- though the sterility is balanced by up-to-date comfort and top-notch maintenance.
