Frommer's Review
This place was named after a gastronomic and social landmark, Lutter und Wegner, a hangout for actors in the 19th century. You can have a drink in the stand-up bar or make reservations in advance to dine. Try the local specialty, Königsberger Klopse, with potatoes and a fresh salad. We also recommend the Wiener schnitzel or pot roast with horseradish and Sekt (German sparkling wine). The wide selection of drinks ranges from single-malt Scotch whiskeys to Italian grappas. Main courses range from 16€ to 23€ ($21-$30). The restaurant is open daily 6pm to midnight; the bar is open daily 6pm to 2am or even later, depending on business. In summer, you can sit on a terrace and observe the passing parade.
