For those who want to be away from the center and don't mind a bus or taxi ride or two, this is a welcoming choice. It's in the Barrio de Begoña, near one of the major religious monuments of Bilbao, the Basílica de Begoña. The hotel was built in the late 1950s, and its small rooms, furnished in a functional modern style, are well kept and maintained. During special fairs in Bilbao, rates increase by at least 10%.
