This no-frills restaurant has the charm of a Legion Hall and charges an arm and a leg, but tourist crowds contentedly and noisily chow down here every summer nonetheless. The lobster dinner -- which virtually everyone orders -- includes one smallish steamed crustacean, plus all-you-can-eat mussels (recommended), chowder, biscuits, dessert, and soda. Beer and wine costs extra, and can push the bill for a family into the "unexpectedly expensive" category. Not in the mood for lobster? There's also planked salmon here -- which is cooked out back by a chef happy to talk about the process; if you've never eaten it, though, it might taste dry in the mouth -- and a cold ham plate that nobody orders.
