Frommer's Review
Originally built in 1920, and a longtime favorite of nostalgia buffs, writers, and artists, the Printania lies a 2-minute walk from the beaches. On August 15, 1944, a bombing raid damaged the hotel. The main villa boasts terraces and a glassed-in veranda with potted palms. The guest rooms contain antiques and Breton decorations. Some have des lits Bretons (Brittany-style beds), which surround the occupant with either curtains or paneled doors. Each of the old-fashioned but well-kept bathrooms contains a tub and shower.
