Frommer's Review
The Kompas is a package hotel at the end of Lapad's promenade street where it meets the marina. Guest rooms overlook either Lapad Bay or Lapad's park area, and some have balconies. Bathrooms are adequate in size, but those with bathtubs are a little larger than those with showers. The Kompas has an Internet cafe on the lower level. The stop for the no. 6 bus to Old Town (4km/2 1/2 miles away) is just around the corner.
