A vintage 1950s-era roadside motel owned and operated by the same family since 1975, the Siesta Motel has a cactus-shaped neon sign and a sign proclaiming "Free Rooms, Just Kidding" as a rib to the less honest advertisements on Main Avenue. But make no mistake: This is the best value in Durango, featuring clean, well-kept motel rooms with a king bed or two queens or doubles, and a Mexican theme and a hot tub in the courtyard gazebo.
