Planning a Trip

Getting There -- Trains now run to Grasse from Nice, Cannes, or Antibes. One-way tickets cost 2.10€ ($2.75) from Cannes, 3€ ($3.90) from Antibes, and 7€ ($9.10) from Nice. For train schedules and more information, call tel. 36-35, or visit www.voyages-sncf.com. Buses pull into town every 30 to 60 minutes daily from Cannes (trip time: 50 min.). The one-way fare is 4€ ($5.20). About 14 buses run every day from Nice (1 hr.). The one-way fare is around 6.30€ ($8.20). They arrive at the Gare Routière, place Notre Dame des Fleurs (tel. 04-93-36-08-43), a 10-minute walk north of the town center. Visitors arriving by car take A8, which funnels in traffic from Monaco, Aix-en-Provence, and Marseille.
