The owners have undertaken a stylish, urban-flavored renovation, some of it very contemporary-looking. The interior, including the airy bedrooms, is bright and modern, the perfect place for a hideaway, off-the-record weekend. The in-house restaurant serves artfully conceived food, some platters arranged in nearly sculptural forms. Despite its modern decorative style, the place still captures the romance of the old, romantic Riviera of long ago.
