A well-established address in Naples, this local favorite is always bursting with chic clientele. The stylish old-fashioned nightclub atmosphere doubles with top-quality -- and mostly strictly traditional -- Neapolitan food. The choice of antipasti is good and savory. You can follow it with pappardelle "sotto il cielo di Napoli" (homemade pasta with zucchini, prawns, and green tomatoes) or tubetti con le cozze (short pasta with mussels). For your secondi, the frittura (deep-fried seafood) is a winner. Do not skip dessert -- all are deliciously homemade (such as the superb soufflé, if you have the patience to wait). The attached club features live music and a similar menu. The wine list is huge at both spots.
