This elegant hotel claims to be the best in Naples, and indeed, it is, when it comes to exquisite service and room quality. It compensates for a less romantic atmosphere with the most comfortable accommodations in town. Even the standard doubles are very roomy (with large marble bathrooms and Jacuzzi tubs), and come furnished with special details such as linen sheets and extra-firm mattresses. Superior rooms and suites have large balconies from which you can enjoy views over Borgo Marinari or Mount Vesuvius. The breakfast buffet -- served in a delightful bright room with a view -- is superb, including several kinds of juice, fresh fruit, bacon, and eggs, along with Neapolitan pastries, local cheeses and cold cuts, and several breads. The Caruso Roof Garden restaurant is very good and affords splendid views.
