Hotel Britannique

Next door to Grand Hotel Parker's, the Britannnique is a good solution for those who don't want to shell out money for the luxury of staying at that landmark hotel, but who would like to enjoy its perfect location. Housed in a less grand building than its neighbor Parker's, it offers a beautiful garden and the same spectacular views. The rest of the hotel, though, is a bit dusty and in need of a face-lift, which justifies the lower prices. Guest rooms are large and decorated in Louis XVI or Empire style; most of them offer beautiful views over the Gulf. Bathrooms are old-fashioned but functional. Some rooms have cooking facilities, an added value for families with young children.
