Planning a TripGetting There At least 18 buses per day make the 1 1/2-hour trip from Málaga. From Almería, eight buses a day take 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Call the bus station, Avenida Pescia s/n (tel. 95-252-15-04), for information and schedules. If you're driving, head along the N-340/E-15 east from Málaga or take the N-340/E-15 west from Almería. Visitor Information The tourist office at Puerta del Mar 2 (tel. 95-252-15-31; www.nerja.org) is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm and 4:30 to 7pm, Saturday from 10am to 1pm. Special Events A cultural festival takes place here in July. In the past it has drawn leading artists, musicians, and dancers from around the world.
