Locally famous as the gathering place for granolas and lefty rabble-rousers back when they amassed in Tofino to take their stand, the Loaf has since expanded, which just goes to show you can make money selling idealism along with your muffins. Located at the "far" end of town, the Common Loaf does baked goods really well: muffins, cookies, whole-grain breads, and sticky cinnamon buns. It also serves soups, curry, and pizza for lunch.
