This cozy restaurant, just off the main street, has developed a deserved reputation for some of the best -- and best value -- seafood and vegetarian dishes in town. There are a number of small plates, which you can assemble into a meal, many featuring local shrimp, oysters, and clams in innovative preparations. Main courses reflect an Asian influence. Local sablefish is served with maple mirin sauce, while tandoori halibut comes with cardamom and pistachio pilaf. Start your meal off with the popular RainCoast salad -- smoked salmon, sautéed mushrooms, and chèvre on a bed of greens, with maple-balsamic vinaigrette.
