The Inn at Tough City

This is possibly Tofino's nicest small inn and certainly the quirkiest (by the way, Tough City was an early nickname for Tofino). Built in 1996 from salvaged and recycled material, it's filled with antiques, stained glass, and bric-a-brac. The rooms are all unique, with cheerful jewel-toned walls and a dollop of thrift-store chic; several feature soaker tubs, fireplaces, or both. Some rooms have balconies. The on-site restaurant, Tough City Sushi, features seafood and sushi and is open for dinner year-round, lunch in summer season only.
