Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach Review

Situated on the pristine Palm Beach oceanfront, Four Seasons is a quiet retreat from Worth Avenue -- a pricey cab ride from the hotel. Guest rooms are spacious, with private balconies and lavish bathrooms. The full-service spa is excellent and brand new at 9,000 square feet, featuring nine treatment rooms including a "Man Room," a wet room, spa suite, and full-service salon. The main dining room, known simply as the Restaurant, has recently been updated as a casual seafood oriented eatery with lovely lounge seating on the outdoor terrace where you can just have a cocktail (try their new organic drinks) and a small plate from the restaurant's raw bar. Two other restaurants, the Ocean Bistro -- which is sub par for this kind of hotel -- and the Atlantic Bar & Grill, round out the dining options. The resort offers a complimentary kids program, and teens will enjoy the game room with Xbox, a pool table, and a large-screen TV. Meanwhile, parents can entertain themselves in the Living Room, a swank lounge, or at the Restaurant's outdoor lounge.

Facilities:
3 restaurants; lounge/outdoor patio; babysitting' children's programs; concierge; fitness center; outdoor heated pool; spa; 2 tennis courts; watersports equipment/rentals; whirlpool

About Our System

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.

Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.

The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
