Hotel Monterey ReviewWithin walking distance of the Plaza Mayor, hiding behind a golden stone facade in the neoclassical style, this 50-year-old hotel reopened early in 2005. It was completely redone in a modern style. Guest rooms are midsize to spacious, each comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated, with a tidy bathroom with tub and shower. The hotel has affiliations with a nearby spa. In lieu of its former restaurant, a cafeteria has been installed.
