This is the most tranquil, but also the most remote, recommendation on La Samaná. It lies on the southeast shore of the peninsula, opening onto Samaná Bay, and it's surrounded by parklike grounds fronting a private beach. The resort is a colony of thatch-roof bungalows leading down to the water. In the center of the complex is an infinity pool. If you're driving, the location is about 15 to 20 minutes east of the town of Samaná on the road to Las Galeras. The grounds are planted with tropical foliage. The on-site restaurant serves Dominican specialties, and the staff can also arrange boat excursions.
