Frommer's Review
The principal attraction of the country's National Library is the French neoclassical stone building that houses it, which spans an entire city block. Inside its handsomely painted interiors are over six million works, as well as historical archives and a map room. The Jose Medina reading room, offers a glimpse into an early-20th-century library, with antique books stacked in tiers, leather-topped reading desks, and a giant spinning globe.
