This is a good hotel for travelers seeking dependable, familiar comfort. Los Españoles is part of the Best Western chain, although it has been run by the same family for 26 years -- in fact, the hotel is their old family home, and their friendliness really makes you feel at home yourself. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and modern, though each is sized differently and some are dark and smaller, so let them know what kind of room you want. Top-floor suites have attached terrace patios. This hotel sits beside the Mapocho River in a quiet residential area and is a 10-minute walk to the commercial center of Providencia and the closest Metro station. It also faces a lengthy park that's a good place for a run or a walk.
