Frommer's Review
Few know about this exclusive hotel, yet it is my consistent pick for high-end accommodations for its contemporary flair, amenities, convenient location, and rooftop restaurant with sweeping, New York-style city views. Best of all, given its local ownership, it has a more Chilean flavor than its chain-hotel counterparts, without skimping on cheerful, bilingual service.
The spacious guest rooms are warm and comfortable, and come with a living area with a sliding door, and their Executive Suite has a fully stocked kitchenette that provides an urban pied-à-terre for both business and leisure travelers. The elegant lobby has plenty of comfy couches, but it's the chic rooftop terrace, pool, and restaurant that are the highlights here; my friends and I have adopted this bar/restaurant as our favorite happy hour spot. The hotel is less suited for young children, but their billiard room is a great bonus for teens. Located in the heart of El Bosque and close to every service imaginable, the hotel's entrance is on a quiet tree-lined street and not on the main drag. Call or e-mail for prices as rack rates are rarely adhered to and can drop by $100 (£50).
