This modern property not only offers some of the city's most affordable lodgings, it lies 30m (98 ft.) from the cathedral itself, so it's in the most central location for exploring the medieval core on foot. The owner has sensitively restored the old building, retaining its ancient stonework and restoring exposed and time-blackened wooden beams. The guest rooms are simply but comfortably decorated, each with a small private bathroom with shower. In summer you should reserve as far in advance as possible.
