This mecca of international tourism offers endless choices, but be prepared to shell out if you want to be in Sorrento proper, as the cheaper accommodations are often substandard and can be cramped or noisy. Sant'Agnello, adjacent to Sorrento to the east, is slightly cheaper, but you'll find better hotels for your money outside town, either toward Vico Equense or Massa Lubrense.
