Frommer's Review
This is the most desirable of the host of inexpensive inns along Via Capo. There's a marvelous old-fashioned ambience here, with antiques gathered from all over southern Italy adorning the public areas. The panoramas, best seen at sunset from the terraces, are among the finest in Sorrento. Bedrooms range from midsize to spacious, furnished with new pieces and touches of the past, perhaps some pieces from the 1800s. Neapolitan tiles are used widely, especially in the compact bathrooms. Although much of the plumbing remains old-fashioned, you're often treated to jet showers, and some rooms have hydromassage tubs. A number of the accommodations open onto their own private terraces. An elevator will take you down to the rock-strewn beach. The hotel has an excellent restaurant serving Neapolitan cuisine specializing in fresh fish.
