Frommer's Review
In the heart of town -- one of its entrances is on Piazza Tasso -- this hotel is housed in an elegant Italian art nouveau-style palazzo built on top of the town's defensive walls, hence, its name. Restoration in keeping with the Belle Epoque spirit of the historic hotel has brought the sophisticated public spaces back to splendor. Guest rooms are bright, decorated with Vietri-tile floors and Sorrentine marquetry furniture. "Comfort" rooms are spacious, and all rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art bathrooms with tub and special hydro-massage showers.
