Frommer's Review
This restaurant serves good food and also has one of the best views on the island. Built in the 1950s on some of the island's highest terrain, it stands in an isolated spot with panoramic views that sweep out over famous Magens Bay. Over the years, various chefs and owners have experimented with different cuisines; the present occupants decided to go with Italian. Many guests prefer to arrive when the bar opens at 5pm, to enjoy the greatest place in St. Thomas for sunset cocktails. By the time dinner is served, it's "Who cares?" Others come here for the cuisine, which is more familiar than imaginative but quite satisfying. The appetizer of crab cakes with an endive salad is delicious, and portobello mushrooms with fresh mozzarella please the palate. For a main course, most of the ingredients are imported but taste just fine in such dishes as grilled yellowfin tuna with ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi.
