A unique gem among many bland cookie-cutter hotels, this stunning guesthouse is perched 800 feet above Charlotte Amalie's harbor. Its proprietor, Michael Sigler, and his wife, Helga, provide very friendly service at the hotel, while their daughter Natasha and son-in-law AJ take care of the superb restaurant, which draws customers from the upscale Ritz and Marriott nearby. Mike said to us, "We insist on giving good service; that's just how a family works." Each room is different from the next, all decorated by Helga with a personal touch that you can't get at a chain.
