This three-story hotel is popular with business travelers who can't afford the rates elsewhere. It's a good bet for budget-minded couples and families. Just uphill from Albert Park near the Government Buildings, the L-shaped structure bends around a tropical courtyard with a two-level swimming pool with a Jacuzzi and a water slide. Opening to this vista is a small restaurant and a lively bar, which attract business types after work. Accommodation is in spacious studios and two-bedroom apartments, all with tropical cane-and-wicker furniture. The studios are fully air-conditioned, but only the master bedrooms of the apartments are cooled. Apartments have full kitchens; studios have refrigerators, toasters, coffeemakers, and microwave ovens. The staff will assist in arranging activities and excursions.
