La Brasserie, in the most prestigious hotel in the city, evokes memories of the old Brasserie Lipp in Paris. It is warmly decorated with cove moldings, burnished hardwood, shimmering glass, and cut flowers. Fresh shellfish is featured, while other specialties include braised red snapper, duck stew, "butterfly oysters," and an array of plats du jour based on traditional brasserie cuisine.
