Set in the heart of Toulouse's historic core, this is a well-recommended, government-rated, two-star hotel with few frills but a good location and a solid and comfortable presence. The hotel occupies a narrow, five-story town house whose foundations go back to the 15th century. The owners have brought in a simple collection of furniture, most of it painted in tones of cream and white, and positioned it according to the Chinese principles of feng shui. While you won't find a restaurant on-site, many bars and dining outlets are just a short walk away. The staff is well prepared to offer advice about attractions and diversions within the neighborhood.
