Getting There

The nearest rail station is in Cagnes-sur-Mer, about 10km (6 1/4 miles) southwest from Vence. From there, about 20 buses per day priced at 1.30€ ($1.70) go to Vence. For train information, call tel. 36-35, or visit www.voyages-sncf.com. Frequent buses (no. 400 or 94) originating in Nice take 45 minutes to reach Vence; the one-way fare is 1.30€ ($1.70). For information, contact the Compagnie SAP (tel. 04-93-80-09-38). To drive to Vence from Nice, take N7 west to Cagnes-sur-Mer, then D236 north to Vence.
