If you're heading into the hills above Nice and you seek luxury and refinement, this is your address. The château, in a 14-hectare (36-acre) park with terraced gardens, was built in 1936. The main building holds the standard units, while suites are housed in the tile-roofed villas. You can walk through the gardens on winding paths lined with tall cypresses and olive trees, and past the ruins of a chapel. The luxurious restaurant has a view of the coast and offers superb French cuisine. In summer, many guests prefer the poolside grill.
