Arezzo is just off the A1 autostrada, putting it within fairly easy reach of Florence and most Tuscan towns by car; there’s also bus service (Tiemme: www.tiemmespa.it; tel. 0575/39881) from Siena. Arezzo is on a main north-south train line, with frequent service to and from Florence and Rome.
