The brainchild of celebrity chef Simon Gault, this is one of Auckland’s hot spots. Its menu goes well beyond European fare (or even the foods of New Zealand) ranging the globe for inspiration. So you might find yourself with a starter of Peking Duck or Caesar Salad, followed by pizza or Long Island duck with citrus sauce and couscous. A bit schizophrenic yes, but generally the food is terrific and the service warm.
