Getting There -- Several trains on the Palermo-Messina line from Palermo Stazione Centrale arrive at Bagheria (tel. 892021; www.trenitalia.it). The train runs approximately every 20 minutes; it is a 15-minute journey. The hourly bus no. 4 operated by AST (tel. 840-000323; www.aziendasicilianatrasporti.it) runs here from Palermo, leaving from the Stazione Centrale, and takes an hour. If you're coming by car from Palermo, taking the coastal route (SS113) via Ficarazzi is easier than going to the trouble of getting on the autostrada (A19).
