Operating since 1888, when construction was finished on the Mirador de Colom, this tour company has seen the city grow up around it. For a quick overview, Las Golondrinas offers a 40-minute tour of the port, although the 1 1/2-hour tour of the port and the coastline is more relaxing. It covers an 18-mile stretch and takes in the Barceloneta beaches, with views of the spires of La Sagrada Familia and the much newer landmark of Frank Gehry's giant fish. If you can bear to go below, the two catamarans Trimar and Omnibus have hull windows for underwater views.
