Montjuïc is known for its views of the city, and there’s no place more serene to lord it over the metropolis than from the dining room of this restaurant at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya. Usually there’s a reverse correlation between the quality of the food and the quality of the view, but not here. Òleum presents a fairly light menu at midday and evening. All dishes have a little twist, whether it’s the nut bread and sliced grilled foie on the venison burger, or the pumpkin with the mushroom and truffle risotto. Prices are reasonable for such an exquisite venue—you may wish you hadn’t worn sneakers to the museum.
