Getting There & Getting Around
Baska is about 72km (45 miles) from Rijeka and less than an hour from Krk Town, but it's a world away from the Catskill atmosphere of Opatija. Buses originating in Rijeka stop at the edge of Baska between the harbor and the beach and it's a short walk to Zvonimirova, the town's main street and the site of the city tourist office, which can provide maps, brochures, and directions. Information about the town and accommodations is also available at a number of private tourist agencies. In addition, summer ferries connect Baska with Lopar on the island of Rab to the south.
