Pure Tastes is, without a doubt, one of the finest restaurants in this area. Its calling card is fresh, fresh seafood done in what we can only call contemporary Pacific Rim–style. Diners sit next to a swimming pool (sounds odd, but the effect is rather chic) and are treated to dishes like cured salmon with smoked eel salad and horseradish panna cotta; seared snapper filet topped with oysters and dill cream; or grilled scotch filet with a monkey gland sauce (no, that's not a typo).  Dishes are served a la carte or as part of a tasting menu; there’s also a kids’ menu (no monkey glands on that!).
