Most visitors who come to this island do so for a week or so. Tat's Rental at Beach Villas, Great Harbour Cay (tel. 242/367-8123), handles accommodations for most visitors, especially couples, though arrangements can be made for up to eight guests. Visitors have a choice of Bahamian town houses, beach villas, or beach houses. Those who want convenience prefer accommodations in a spacious town house right at the marina, with the dock underneath. All rentals are air-conditioned, and include a fully equipped kitchen. Beach villas are rented along a 13km-long (8-mile) strip of white sands to the east of the airport. If you rent accommodations through Tat's, you're welcomed at the airport when you check in and taken to your rental. Don't expect such conveniences as phones or Internet service, however. Beach Villas lies just northeast of the airport.
