You might think you don’t come to Bordeaux for Italian food, but with a queue forming outside this restaurant pretty much every evening, you’d be missing out of one of the liveliest and most enjoyable restaurants in town. Take your pick of wood-fired pizza and freshly-made pasta, all beautifully done and served by the friendly staff. My personal favorite pizza is the Saint Pierre de Roma with its fresh basil and mozzarella. The same owners run Ragazzi di Peppone down on Quai Richelieu along the waterfront with the same menu, but with an outside terrace.
