Casa Anita
Lunch at this legendary, family-run bodega on a street just behind the beach is quite an experience. There’s no menu—the charismatic owner Juan will simply sit you down on at one of the bench tables and tell you what you’ll be having. Dishes change every day depending on what’s available at the market, but you can expect prawns, sardines, and razor clams followed by grilled fish and plenty of local wine. You won’t be allowed to pass on home-made dessert. Great fun, but it’s no secret—you’ll need to reserve.
