It’s not the most glamorous place to dine in greater Camden, but that might be why locals like to lunch here so much. That and the view. The wide deck out back is maybe the best al fresco dining on the midcoast, with the waves lapping at pilings right beneath you and the green hump of Mount Battie looming behind. Find a little bit of everything on the menu, from steaks to a chicken enchilada to really nicely executed Maine seafood classics. I highly recommend the mussels in white wine appetizer, and all the salads are substantial enough to be meals. Service is unfussy, and there’s certainly no dress code.
